Born Mar 2016, Spitz Indie cross, Female
Shaina was abandoned by someone who came in an autorickshaw along with her identical sibling around May 2016, when they were about 2 months old. They look like a spitz cross. They had no where else to go and were sitting right in the middle of the road, confused and unsure of what next. Both were rescued and taken to the car junkyard. Within a week Shaina’s sibling was runover by a car just outside the junkyard during heavy traffic. Shaina is this sweet little girl with an attitude of a princess.
Shaina, princess like loves being around people and being cuddled, yet loves being independent. She is not big on food or treats, but loves an ariel view of everything. She mostly sits on high ground, like top of the care roof, chair, table, wall etc. She loves rain and the only dog at the shelter that prefers being drenched. She loves getting herself rolled in mud and sitting and relaxing in any deep surfaces that has water in it, even a pot with water in it. She loves bike rides and the first thing she asks from anyone are lots of belly rubs. She absolutely loves them. She demands them if she doesn’t get them. She is extremely friendly with humans, other dogs and kids too.
Shaina came to the shelter on 17 April 2019, along with her other pack of 7, when they lost their only home (the streets) when the metro construction started and 4 of her other friends died due to road accidents and the street was dug up not leaving even the footpath to sleep on. This little princess is vaccinated, dewormed, and spayed. She is extremely sweet and friendly. She is healthy and has no health issues in the past or present. Unfortunately, despite being so sweet, friendly, cute and cuddly, we couldn’t find a family that would adopt her when she was still in her puppyhood. So she is now part of our CSI family and will remain with us for as long as she lives. You can however, passively adopt this princess, come by and spend time with her at the shelter too.
